Apple seeds watchOS 2.2 beta 5 to developers

On its streak of beta releases, Apple has also seeded the latest beta for its most personal device to date, the Apple Watch‘s watchOS.
Apple has seeded the fifth beta for watchOS 2.2 to developers. This release follows the fourth beta distributed last week, and the first beta that was seeded earlier in January. watchOS 2.2 isn’t a huge update, but it does provide Apple Watch owners the ability to pair more than one wearable to an iPhone, as long as that iPhone is running theiOS 9.3 beta. So far, there haven’t been any other user-facing features added to the mix so far.
To download the new beta software, you’ll need to be running an iPhone with the new iOS 9.3 beta already installed. You’ll then open the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone, head into General and tap on Software Update. The Apple Watch has to have at least 50 percent battery, has to be placed on the Apple Watch charger, and has to be in range of the iPhone equipped with iOS 9.3.
We don’t know what’s new in the fifth beta version of watchOS 2.2 yet. If you find anything new then please send us an email to tips@iphonehacks.com.
